Steelcraft Sailboats Russel Bros. made a small all-aluminum sail boat (racing yawl) in 1963, for an American buyer. There was also a much larger aqluminum sailboat, name unknown. 600 pixel   1024 pixel   600 DPI

1967 Aerial shot c. 1967. Two Hindman tugs in Russels slip. White larger tug Dana T Bowan (Now Ivan Purvis) and along side is Paul Evans (Now S.S.Pumper). Note the Hipwell tow locomotive out near the overhead crane. Basically, it was a land tug. It had the typical Hipwell engine and the double winch as per the marine version. The engine on it had a wonderful "Russel Engines" cast radiator tank. 800 pixel

1967: LARGEST PLATE CUTTING SHEAR IN CANADA The inscription on the back is by Pat Walsh's mom and reads: "Pat, this is the machine that your dad (Harold Walsh) worked on at Russel's for several years before he died. He was the first to ever operate it, and was very proud of his work on it - worked on it until he died. Thought you might like to have it.
