RBF notes: "The roller is about 3' to 4' wide and the flat bow curves up to it. There's a bunch of half pipes running up vertically like skid plates on it. It's now owned by Kapuskasing Economic Development Team and they won't sell her...I asked. Kapus has a huge winch in mint condition along with a Detroit Diesel Engine in mint condition. Short of it was that they are not for sale and are a heritage display of a time gone by. ". July 7th, 2006.

Scotty McGillicutty notes (July 12th, 2006): "More info on Spuce Falls P&P ( now Tembec). The tugs were not all "named" and the locals referred to them by "color". The orange one being the Penny, I think the Oscar was white, there was a green one, then there was the 35 footers which the Kapus is one of, again known by colors ( the Kapus is the small white one)".
