As of Nov. 8, 2018: Mékinac is in her third season at work in Repentigny, QC. Photos courtesy Gilles Noël. Gilles says it has a Caterpillar engine and the second funnel behind the original exhaust one is just for air. "Details for registered vessel MEKINAC (O.N. 319612). This vessel is no longer registered in Canada. Date of closing: 2008-07-15." Here is Gilles early Nov. 2018:
