Oct. 16, 1962, Page 2 - The Ottawa Citizen: Ship christened OWEN SOUND (CP) - The coast guard ship Montmagny was christened here Monday by Mrs. Percy Noble, wife of Percy Noble, Progressive Conservative member of Parliament for Grey North. The 148-foot ship will go into operation on the St. Lawrence Seaway for the department of transport.

Decommissioned and sold in 1999 Official Number: 318536 Call Sign: CG2227 Length: 45.0 m Breadth: 8.8 m Draft: 2.6 m Gross Tonnage: 497.0 t Net Tonnage: 195.0 t Power: 782kw. Propellers: (2) x Fixed Pitch Crane SWL: 7.0 t Recourse: CCG.
