In addition to the two naval vessels launched on Tuesday afternoon [H.M.C.S Glendyne and Tanac V-207] at the plant of Russel Brothers Limited, a third vesel also slid down the ways later on in the day, forty foot tug R. H. Daughney. This launching was without ceremony of any kind, the vessel having been built by order under private contract.
