In 1944 she was built for the Royal Canadian Navy. She was employed by the RCN as a tug at Shelburne NS. In 1946 she was sold to Marine Industries Ltd., Montreal, QC. In 1957 she was sold to Branck Lines Ltd., Montreal QC. In 1969 she was sold to Bernard Champoux, Pte-aux-Tremble, QC. In 1969 she was sold to Therese Champoux, Montreal, QC. In 1994 she was sold to Urgence Marine Inc., Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC.

This small tug was built in 1944 for the Royal Canadian Navy as the Streetsville. She was sold civilian in 1946 to Marine Industries Limited. Urgence Marine Inc. of Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC later purchased the tug. She was eventually rebuilt with a new wheelhouse.
Streetsville is busy servicing ships and performing various small jobs in the port of Montreal.

It is owned by Compagnie Urgence Marine Montr�al, Qu�bec. In Winter it breaks ice, and in summer we pull barges. We also have a water discharge service with a special barge too." Streetsville and Simon Cote can often be seen from Parc de la Promenade-Bellerive.
